ANJOUAN

Anjouan issue its own stamps from 1892 to1914. It then began using the stamps from Madagascar until 1950 when it started to use stamps form Comoro Islands. In 1975 Anjouan became an independent state of Comoro. And began to issue stamps under the name of Comoro Islands. Anjouan issued its stamps with the country name printed on the stamp in their own language. An example of a Anjouan stamp issue is as follows:
