BASUTOLAND

Basutoland used stamps from the Cape of Good Hope from 1871 to 1910. It also used stamps from the Union of South Africa from 1910 to 1933. From 1933 to 1966 Basutoland issued its own stamps and used South Africa stamps with overprint for postage. It became an independent state of Lesotho in 1966 and began to used Lesotho stamps for postage. Some examples of Basutoland stamps is as follows:
