BECHUANALAND PROTECTORATE

Bechuanaland Protectorate used stamps from Bechuanaland, Great Britain, Cape of Good Hope, and South Africa for its postage. Many different Overprints were stamped on these countries stamps. Bechuanaland also issued its own stamps until 1966. When it became the Republic of Botswana and began to issue stamps in that country name.
