CHAD

Chad was a depencency of Ubangi-Shari until it became a French colony in 1920. Chad issued stamps from the Middle Congo with an overprint for postage until 1934. When Chad, Gabon, Middle Congo and Ubangi-Shari joined together to become French Equatorial Africa. Stamps from French Equatorial Africa were issued for postage until Chad became the Republic of Chad in 1958 and began to issue their own stamps again. Some examples of Chad stamps is as follows:
