CORFU ISLAND

Corfu Island was a part of Greece and issued the stamps of Greece with an overprint for postage. In 1922 Italian forces occupied Corfu and Italian stamps with an overprint were issued for postage. Corfu only issued other countries stamps with overprints for postage. They never issued their own stamps. An example of a Corfu Island overprint is as follows:
