Cyrenaica was an Italian colony and used stamps of Italy with an overprint for postage. It became an Autonomous State in 1946 and later joined with Libya in 1951. Stamps of Libya replaced Cyrenaica stamps for postage. Some examples of Cyrenaica stamps is as follows:
