FRENCH OFFICES ABROAD, CHINA

French post offices were maintained in China for sending and receiving mail. These post offices process the mail using general and Indo-China stamps for postage with their own special overprints. The offices were maintained in Canton, Hoi Hao, Kwang-chowan, Mongtseu, Packhoi, Tong King, and Yunnan Fou. Some examples of French posts offices in China stamps and overprints is as follows:
