FRENCH, REUNION

Reunion was a colony of France and began to issue their own stamps in 1865. They became an equal partner in the French Republic in 1947, and began to use stamps of France overprinted "CFA" for postage. They also issued and used inscribed "CFA" stamps for postage. In 1975, stamps of France replaced those inscribe or overprinted "CFA." Some examples of French, Reunion stamps is as follows:
