GEORGIA

Georgia was part of the Russian Empire and Transcaucasian Federation of Soviet Republics. It began to issue stamps in 1919. In 1923 stamps of Transcaucasian Federated Republics replaced the stamps of Georgia. Georgia didn't issue stamps again until 1993, when they broke away from the Soviet Union and joined the Commonwealth of Indepedent States. Some examples of Georgia stamps is as follows:
