THURN AND TAXIS

Thurn and Taxis was a private postal service that issued stamps for the Northern and Southern Districts until 1867, when the stamps of Prussia replaced Thurn and Taxis stamps. Prussia stamps were later replaced by the Northern Confederation, which were replaced by the German Empire stamps.
