JERSEY

Jersey Island is part of group of islands known as bailiwick. The bailiwick includes the islands of Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Jethou and Lithou. In 1969 the Jersey Island post office became independent and stamps of Great Britain were no longer valid for postage in Jersey. An example of a Jersey Island stamp is as follows:
