Great Britain had post offices in Africa to issue British stamps with an overprint for postage. Some of these stamps were good for postage in one area alone, and other stamps were good for postage in many areas. British post offices in Africa cover the areas of Ethiopia, Cyrenaica, Eritrea, Dodecanese and Somalia.
