GRIQUALAND WEST

Griqualand West was a British Crown Colony that began to issue Cape of Good Hope stamps with an overprint in 1874. It became a part of the Cape of Good Hope Colony in 1880 and began using the Cape of Good Hope stamps without an overprint for postage. An example of a Griqualand West stamps is as follows:
