KOREA

Korea issued its first stamp in1884. It later became part of Japan and used the stamps of Japan for postage between the years of 1905 and 1946. After WWII Korea was separated into two countries named North and South Korea. In 1948 South Korea became a republic and began to issue its own stamps. North Korea also began to issued its own stamps. Some examples of Korea stamps is as follows:
