North Ingermanland broke away from Russia rule when it revolted in 1920 and created a new government. The government was short lived however, because the Russian sent in their army in 1920 and reclaimed power. Even though the state of North Ingermanland was short lived, It did issue many stamps in 1920. An example of a North Ingermanland stamp is as follows:
