RHODESIA, BRITISH SOUTH AFRICA

Rhodesia was formerly known as British South Africa and was administered by the British South Africa Company. The first stamp was issued in 1890 with the inscribed name of "British South Africa Company." In 1924 the British South Africa Company handed the administered duties over to the Colonial office in London. Then in 1953 Rhodesia was then joined with Southern Rhodesia, and Nyasaland to form the federation named "Rhodesia and Nyasaland." Some examples of Rhodesia stamps is as follows:
