RYUKYU ISLANDS

Ryukyu Islands were a part of Japan until 1945 when the American Forces took control of it. Ryukyu Islands were returned to Japan in 1972. And the stamps of Japan replaced the stamps of Ryukyu Islands. Some examples of Ryukyu Islands stamps is as follows:
