SAMOA

Somoa was an independent Kindom until 1898 when the island was split up between Germany and the United States. Early in WW1 Somoa was taken over by the Germans and occupied by New Zealand Troops. Then in 1920 Somoa became a mandate to New Zealand until 1962 when Somoa gained its independence. Some examples of Somoa stamps is as follows:
