SCHLESWIG

Schleswig was formerly known as the German province of Schleswig-Holstein. It was divided into two parts after WWI called north (Zone 1) and south Schleswig. The northern part later joined with Denmark and the southern part remained with Germany. Schleswig issued its first stamp in 1920. Some examples of Schleswig stamps is as follows:
