St. Kitts is a state in the British Commonwealth that used the stamps of St. Christopher for postage until 1890. From 1890 the stamps of Leeward Islands were used for postage. In 1903 the stamps of St Kitts-Nevis and Leeward Islands were both used for postage until 1956 when the stamps of St Kitts-Nevis became the only stamp used for postage. Then in 1980 St. Kitts and Nevis created their own postal administration and both began to issue their own stamps. Some examples of St. Kitts stamps is as follows:
