ST. KITTS-NEVIS

St. Kitts-Nevis was once part of the Leeward Islands colony until 1956 when it became its own colony. Stamps of St Christopher were used for postage until 1890 when the stamp of Leeward Islands began to be used for postage. In 1903 the the stamps of St. Kitts-Nevis and the stamps of Leeward Islands were both used for postage until 1956. Starting in 1967 Anguilla was inscribed on the stamp heading. In 1980 the stamp heading was either St Kitts or Nevis. Some examples of St.Kitts-Nevis stamps is as follows:
