Manta Ray
Set of 4

Cocos (Keeling) Islands has issue 4 new stamps with postage values of $1.10 and $2.20 name "Manta Ray" on May 18th, 2021. These stamps feature four different under water pictures of the Reef Manta Ray Mobula alfredi with its name inscribed on the bottom of each stamp. It can be found around Cocos (Keeling) Islands and parts of the Indo-Pacific. It can grow up to five meters in width and has assorted fins with a forward facing mouth. Its assorted colors include dark gray, black, white with dark spots and blotches. It is considered as a threatened species and is on the IUCN Red List..

Manta Ray stamps can be purchase as set of 4, miniature sheet, assorted gutters of 10 and assorted FDCs. The size of each stamp is 37.5mm x 26mm and the size of the miniature sheet is 135mm x 80mm Perforation size is 13.86 x 14.6 using the 2cm reference.. They were printed by RA Printing(stamps) and EGO Printing(minisheet) using the offset lithography printing process.
