Step 11 - The four basic color powders, namely cyan, magenta, yellow and black are applied to the chromalin paper.

Step 12 - The finished chromalin proof is supplied to Philatelic Services for approval.

Step 13 - After the chromalin proofs have been approved, printing will begin. An example below shows a cyan color plate on the printing press.

Step 14 - The printing press operator must set the ink densities before starting the printing process.

Step 15 - Below are four examples of the plates used to print the stamps. Each plate is identified by its color. In this example they are cyan color plate, Magenenta color plate, Yellow color plate and Black color plate.

Step 16 - Below is an example of a color plate showing a combination of cyan and yellow.

Step 17 - Below is an example of a color plate showing a combination of cyan, magenta and yellow.

Step 18 - Below is an example of a color plate showing a combination of cyan, yellow, magneta and black.

Step 19 - The completed printed stamps.

Step 20 - The completed printed stamp sheet.
